Ever wondered how the other half live? While most of us are trying to make ends meet so we can pay the
mortgage on our tiny flats, other people are living the life of luxury in a ten-bedroom mansion complete
                    with stables and tennis courts.
But there’s so much more on offer when you’re in the market to buy a house. So, if you’re thinking of
buying somewhere, check out our house guide to see just what’s available around the world.
                  1. If you’re looking for something spacious, with acres of land, this could be just the place for you. It’s
becoming increasingly popular to convert barns into luxurious houses. With high ceilings and gorgeous
views of the surrounding countryside, many people are buying these abandoned farm buildings and
transforming them into the height of comfort and luxury.

                  2. If, on the other hand, you’d prefer something a bit different, why not buy a quaint, little shack in the middle
of a lake? Perfect if you love fishing! You can wake up every day and catch your own breakfast before
spending the afternoon in your rowing boat.
                  3. Does a waterfront property appeal to you? But perhaps something a little more exotic? With a breath-
taking infinity pool and poolside pavilion, this is the spot for those of you who want luxury and laziness.
                  4. Not a fan of the summer sun? How about the freezing polar north, where you can relax in your glass igloo
and watch the Northern Lights through the dome? For those of you who love nothing more than being
cosily wrapped up in blankets as the harsh winter develops around you, this is the place to be.
                  5. But if you think long-term and are worried about the threat of nuclear war with the world’s current political
climate, you might prefer something a little more practical. It may not look like much from the outside, but
this bunker will protect you from heavy bombing, and with space to store years of rations, you can get
snug and come out when it’s all over.

So, which would be top of your wish list if a For Sale sign went up?
