                 C.  Read the text about prose and poetry. Complete the definitions with the words in bold from the text.

                   1.                 a poem with 14 lines, each with ten syllables

                   1.  Poetry rhymes and uses rhythm. Prose does not.
                   2.  Poetry is more creative and imaginative than prose.
                   3.  The reader has to interpret the meaning of poems more than prose.
                   4.  You can paraphrase prose, but you can’t paraphrase a poem.
                   5.  The purpose of poetry is primarily the writer’s self-expression, whereas prose is more useful to the reader.
                   6.  The primary difference between prose and poetry is how it appears on a page.
