                   See the examples and the verb tenses in the table below.

                      I’m not going to study with my friends tomorrow.          be going to (future)
                      Are you going to study with your friends tomorrow?

                    e. I have already studied this chapter.
                      I haven’t studied this chapter yet*.                      present perfect
                      Have you studied this chapter yet*?


                     f. I have been studying at this university since last year.
                      I haven’t been studying at this university since last year.   present perfect continuous
                      Have you been studying at this university since last year?

                    g. I studied English at the camp last summer.
                      I didn’t study English at the camp last summer.           past simple
                      Did you study English at the camp last summer?


                    h. I was studying in my room when you called me.
                      I wasn’t studying in my room when you called me.          past continuous
                      Were you studying in your room when you called me?


                     i. I had studied enough before I took the test.
                      I hadn’t studied enough before I took the test.           past perfect simple
                      Had you studied enough before you took the test?



                   *Yet is used in negative and question forms in the present perfect.
