              You can change the alignment of any cell by selecting it and then clicking

              on these buttons in the ribbon.















              2. Changing the width of a column.

              When placing the cursor between two columns, it changes shape. This

              shape is called a width indicator. By clicking and dragging left or right,
              we can change the width and make the contents of a cell fit.


















              Let’s Practise

              Open the spreadsheet called ‘Adjustments.xlsx’. Can you change the

              alignments of all cells to ‘centre’?

              Now, let’s try to change the width of the columns to fit the labels.

              Can you change the ‘height’ of a row? Place your cursor between rows
              5 and 6. When the cursor becomes a height indicator, click and drag to

              change the height.
