Lesson 3

Using Text and Pictures Together

1. Open the file ‘Using the Keyboard II.docx’.

2. Click on the picture of ‘Humpty Dumpty’.
3. Choose the wrapping style ‘Behind Text’ for this picture.

4. Move the picture beside the text.

5. Rotate it to the left or right.

6. Insert the caption ‘Humpty Dumpty is about to fall.’

7. Save your file.

Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall,

Humpty Dumpty had a great fall.

All the king’s horses and all the king’s men,

Couldn’t put Humpty together again. Humpty Dumpty
is about to fall.

Lesson 4

Borders and Effects

1. Open the file ‘Using the Keyboard II.docx’.

2. Click on the picture of ‘Humpty Dumpty’.

3. Add a picture border to the picture. From the
‘Weight’ menu, choose ‘3 pt.’

4. From the ‘Dashes’ menu, choose ‘Square Dot’.
5. Now let’s add a picture effect. Choose a shadow you like.
