Once upon a time, in a faraway forest, lived a hare and a tortoise. The hare
was mean to the tortoise and made fun of her for being slow.

The tortoise was really annoyed. She couldn’t take it any more. “Although
you are as fast as the wind, I can still beat you in a race,” said the tortoise,
                    with great self-confidence.

Hearing this, the hare burst into laughter. But the tortoise insisted on
having the race. The hare couldn’t figure out what she had in mind, but in
the end he accepted the challenge, because for him it was not challenging
                    at all.

So the race started. The hare started running and hopping fast, while the
                    tortoise crawled slowly but steadily.

The hare had almost reached the finishing line. He looked behind him, and
there was no sign of the tortoise. “It will take the tortoise ages to arrive
here anyway. I still have time to rest for a while under this tree,” said the
                    hare.

The hare fell fast asleep. A little while later, he woke up to the sounds
of cheering. He opened his eyes and then got the shock of his life. The
tortoise was standing at the finishing line!

The hare learned that it is good to be confident, but too much confidence
                    will make you lose!
