Similes: They are figures of speech used to compare
two things of different kinds using “as………as” and “like.”
When using “as………as,” write the adjective you need to use between
the “as………as” and write the noun after.
Examples:
He is as strong as a wrestler.
She is as fast as a rabbit.
Try it:
When using “like,” write the verb before “like” and the noun you are
comparing it to after.
Examples:
He runs like a cheetah.
We jump like kangaroos.
