Celebrating My Wife’s Promotion

My wife and I are having friends over tonight to celebrate her new promotion
at work. We have been planning this day for weeks. We have bought a lot of
decorations, food, snacks, and drinks. My wife is the one responsible for the food
and decorations, and I’m responsible for the snacks and beverages. She is making
the most delicious ice cream cake ever, it tastes heavenly, and I can’t wait for my

friends to try it. I’m making a cheese and sour cream dip for the crisps. After we
both finish what we’re supposed to do, we are going to help each other with the
final touches and set up the drinks for the party.
