In the Lab:

You will need:

• 2 batteries

• wire or aluminum foil

• a light bulb

• paper clips

• tape

Steps:

1. Tape one end of a paper clip to

each end of your battery using tape.

2. Connect one end of each wire to

the base of the light bulb.

3. Connect the other end of the wire

to one end of the battery.

(What happens?)

4. Connect the other end of the

second wire to the other end of the

battery. (What happens?)
