                           Dear Parents,

As part of our social studies program, your child is learning about caring.

In class, we learned ways that children can show how much they care for
                           others.

Here are some things you can do to support the message of this lesson
                           and our related learning activities.

                                 • Talk with your child about the importance of caring for other
people. Remind him/her that he/she can make others happy with
                                   simple words.

                                 • Discuss community service with your child. Tell him/her if you
have ever volunteered for a community service project.
                                 • Try to find something that you can do together to make a

                                   difference in someone else’s life.
                                 • Catch your child showing care and praise him/her.
                                 • Watch a cartoon or a movie together, and discuss acts of kindness

                                   or unkindness and their impact.
                                 • Act as a role model for your child by showing how you

                                   care for others.

Thank you for being our partner in education!

Research has shown that children with involved parents score
better than others whose parents don't have a role in their
education process. Help your child stay brilliant!
