Dear Parents,

As a part of our social studies program, your child is learning about his

or her country. In class, we learned things about our country.

Here are some things you can do to support the message of this lesson

and our related learning activities.
• Show your child pictures of significant places in your country.

• Visit a special place in your city or town together.
• Draw your country flag together. Talk about the colors and any
special designs on the flag.
