civilizations developed and what major developments were achieved by
each.
You can help your child by supporting our classroom learning.
Here are some things you can do to reinforce the message of this lesson
and our related learning activities.
• Ask your child to tell you about the lesson and what he or she
learned from it.
• Choose one of the civilizations and discover more about the art
and culture of that time.
• Watch a video about Mesoamerica, the importance of its location,
and how that helped the development of all these civilizations.
• Watch with your child a video of someone speaking the ancient
language of Quechua.
