                           Here are some things you can do to reinforce the message of this lesson

                           and our related learning activities.
                                 • Ask your child to tell you about the lesson and what he or she
                                   learned from it.

                                 • Help your child to find photos of the Declaration of Independence.
                                 • Watch a video about the city of Philadelphia in the time of the

                                   First and Second Continental Congress.
                                 • Discuss with your child the importance of a constitution and give
                                   some examples of the rights that must be preserved for the

                                   citizens.
