Tips for teachers:
Explain to Ss that the s+h is pronounced as /sh/.
Pronounce it and ask them to repeat after you. Encour-
age them to read the “sh” words. Ask them to think of
more “sh” words. Examples could be: sheep, shop,
ship….etc. Help Ss learn/remember the “sh” words.
Help them to trace and write.
