Tips for teachers:
Explain to Ss that c + h sounds /tsh/. Repeat the sound
several times. Differentiate between the sounds sh and
ch. Say both several times and ask Ss to repeat.
Encourage Ss to think of more “ch” words. Examples
could be: chop, chin, chair….etc.
Help Ss learn/remember the “ch” words. Help them to
trace and write.
