Possessive case
We use possessive pronouns when something belongs to somebody.
The pen is hers. Whose dog is that? It belongs to Ali. It’s his.
Where’s your car? Mine is at the garage. This is my father’s car, and that’s mine.
Our garden is small, but theirs is big. Whose dictionary is this? It’s ours.

Example:
