3. A: I’m very worried about my exam.
B: I’m sure you get a good mark.
4. A: They are cutting down rain forests to make fields.
B: Yes, it is horrible! I think many plants and animals disappear in the next ten years.
5. A: Why did you turn off the TV?
B: Because I sleep.
6. A: Do you think Jane is at home now?
B: I don’t think we find her at home.
Present continuous for future
We can use the present continuous to express plans or arrangements in the near future.
We are having a meeting next week.
Mary’s getting married in June.
Our boss is coming next Monday.
