Millions of people experience severe headaches
that cause terrible pain. People with headaches
often take a lot of medicine, but that doesn’t
always help. Sometimes, headaches can be
so bad that nothing helps. For times like those,
there are other approaches you can consider.
Firstly, you should try to avoid foods that trigger
headaches. While what triggers a headache is
different for everybody, the most common foods
are the following: cheese, soy foods, nuts, citrus
fruits, and vinegar. You had better minimise these
foods to have fewer headaches. You should also
try to avoid foods you are allergic to. Some people
have trouble with foods you wouldn’t expect, but
the most common allergenic foods are wheat,
soy, corn, peanuts, dairy products, and shellfish.
Specialists have also discovered that exercise
can reduce the number of headaches. For some
people, regular exercise can even prevent them
from getting headaches. So you should choose
an exercise you like, such as swimming, walking,
dancing, etc. Getting enough sleep can help,
too. You had better try to follow a regular sleep
schedule. Letting your body rest can help reduce
headaches. You should also stay hydrated.
