Why you should always choose
energy-efficient appliances
Our home electrical appliances are responsible
for over thirty percent of our home energy use.
This affects not only our electricity bills, but also
the amount of electricity we demand from power
stations. Unless you have specifically chosen an
electricity supplier that uses renewable sources,
you are probably unaware how much coal, oil and
gas you are burning, and the extent to which you
are contributing to pollution and global warming.
As a result, it is your responsibility to minimise your
energy use wherever possible, and your choice of
