              The perfect aspect

              The perfect aspect is the group of verb forms
              used to express a completed action. The
              perfect aspect includes the present perfect, the
              past perfect, and the future perfect tenses.
                 • present perfect

                   I haven’t seen this film.
                 • past perfect

                   She had finished her interview by 10 am.
                 • future perfect

                   They will have left by the time we arrive.
