Let’s Learn

Tags are a way of organising notes in OneNote. With tags, you
can quickly find important notes, remind yourself about things
to do, or inform others of notes you’d like to share.

The ‘Tags’ menu, found in the ‘Home’ tab, has many types of
tags you can use.

Adding a tag.

Open the OneNote notebook you created in the previous lesson.

Go to the ‘School Notes’ section
and click on the ‘History’ page.

In the ‘Home’ tab, you will find the
‘Tags’ menu with a list of tags.

Select the ‘To Do’ tag. Type ‘Study
Chapters 1 and 2’, and click the box.

In the ‘Maths’ page, add an ‘Important’
tag. Type ‘Practice Addition’.
