          Fun Time!

Changing the orientation of text in a cell.
The orientation (direction) of the text in a cell
can be changed. This makes the cell more
impressive and easier to notice. Let’s change
the orientation of cells ‘C2:D2’. Select the cells
and open the ‘Format Cells’ menu. Choose the
‘Alignment’ tab. From the ‘Orientation’ menu,
click and drag the red marker. Drag it until it
reaches 45 degrees, or simply type the number
in the space below. Click on ‘OK’ when you’re
done. The cells have now changed orientation.

          Challenge Yourself!

Sometimes, a cell might contain a lot of information and might not be able to show all its contents.
You can control the text of a cell by choosing either ‘Shrink to fit’ or ‘Wrap text’. Can you find
these two options in the ‘Alignment’ tab? Search for them under ‘Text control’. Try them out on
cell ‘C3’. Which one do you prefer?
