Shepherds and the Magic Stone

Katy and Ross were shepherds on a big farm. One day, they found

a glowing stone. Katy picked it up and began to turn it in her hand.
When she had turned the stone three times, Katy and Ross saw smoke

coming from the stone, and a beautiful fairy appeared!
The fairy said, “Do you have any wishes?” Ross wished

he could bounce. The fairy granted him his wish, and he

bounced down the road. He kept bouncing until he was
tired. Katy missed Ross and said, “I wish Ross would come

back and stop bouncing!” The fairy waved her wand, and
Ross was back with Katy again.
