Carly Is Good at Chores

Carly loved to help her mother around the house and see her smile
right after they finished everything. Carly’s mother went on a trip for

a couple of weeks, so Carly decided to clean the whole house as a
surprise for her mother. She started by sweeping all the
rooms and putting everything in its place. Then, she

vacuumed and collected all the dirty clothes and put
them in the washer. After 20 minutes, she took the
clothes from the washer and hung them on the line
to dry. Finally, on the day of her mother's return, Carly
made a couple of sandwiches and a smoothie so her mother would

have something to eat and drink when she arrived home.
