Persuasive essays: They are essays with 4 or 5 paragraphs where the
author tries to convince the reader of the validity of his or her point of
view, using certain points to explain why they think they are correct.
Introduction:
Introduce the topic with an eye-catching opening sentence.
State your position on the topic.
Briefly state your arguments.
