Postcards Saved the Day
Jacob went on a trip to Austria for three weeks all by himself.
As soon as he got there, he realised that he had left his mobile
phone charger at home and that he also had no internet access!
He kept thinking about how worried his family must be and tried to
think of a way to contact them so that he could let them know he
was fine. While he was walking around, he saw a postcard
stand in front of a shop and decided to send them
a postcard. Jacob bought a postcard portraying Austria’s
most picturesque landmarks, got a stamp, and wrote his
family a comforting message. He reassured them that he
was fine and promised to stay in contact with them using
postcards.
