A magnet has two ends called

poles. A magnet has a north pole (N)

                                                 and a south pole (S).

               Different poles attract,

the same poles repel and move

               away from each other.

Magnets attract things made of iron through air,

               water, plastic and paper.

Magnets don’t attract things made of

wood, glass, plastic or other metals.
