A closer look
The waste
After all the nutrients are absorbed, there is waste left which is
stuff the body can't use. It passes through the large intestine which
is another tube like the small intestine but fatter and shorter. This is
the last chance for the body to absorb any water or nutrients left.
As water is absorbed in the large intestine, what is left becomes
harder while it moves down until it becomes solid. The body gets
rid of this solid waste through the anus as stools.
