• a glass cylinder

• a glass beaker

containing coloured

water

Steps:

1. Fix the candle in the glass beaker containing coloured

water.

2. Light the candle.

3. Cover the candle with the glass cylinder.

4. Observe what happens to the candle

and the coloured water before and

after adding the glass cylinder.
