How do plants make their food?
Plants, unlike animals, make their own food. Roots take water from
the soil and stems carry it to the leaves where the plants make their
food.
Plants use water, air and sunlight to make their food.
What is chlorophyll?
Chlorophyll is the green substance in the leaves. It is responsible for
giving the leaves their colour. It also absorbs sunlight.
