A closer look
The importance of photosynthesis:
Photosynthesis is important for plants in order to make their food.
It is also important for maintaining life on Earth.
Plants are a main source of oxygen on this planet.
During photosynthesis, plants take carbon dioxide and give out
oxygen.
Plants use some of the glucose produced during photosynthesis for
their own growth and the rest is stored in their roots and fruits.
This becomes our source of energy when we eat fruits and
vegetables.
Photosynthesis keeps our life balanced.
