Matt loves nature. He likes to see beautiful pictures of

places on Earth and keeps them in a photo album he

made of all the places he wants to visit when he

grows up. He sees pictures of Lake Mead in Las Vegas,

and how the water level has decreased over time. He is

very sad to know this happened because of people using

too much water. What can we do to save the lakes?

Jamal lived next to a factory. He had a yellow, white,
and green pet bird. One day, he woke up to nd his

pet bird very sick. He took it to the vet to be
checked. The vet said, “I’m sorry. The bird is dying.”

Jamal asked why this happened. The vet said, “He
could not breathe well.” Why do you think the bird

couldn’t breathe?

Sam went to the supermarket to buy some groceries.

As he was paying, the cashier asked him if he wanted
a cloth bag instead of a plastic one to help save the

environment. Why do you think it is a better option?

Conclusion

Humans are harming the environment. For example, some factories

give out bad fumes that harm humans, animals, and the environment

we are living in. That is what we call pollution.
