Natural resources are things

found in nature that we use to

make other things. Some

resources are used to make fuel

for cars and planes such as oil,

some are used to make wood

such as trees, and others are used

to make bricks to build houses

such as sand, clay, and water.

We need natural resources to

live. Without air, for example, we

can not breathe. Most of the

things around us are made using

natural resources, but we need to

be careful not to waste resources

or we will be harmed in the future.
