Some resources that

give us fuel are hidden

underground such as oil,

coal, and natural gas. They

are made from dead plants

and animals, buried millions

of years ago.

Some resources are

renewable like water, the

sun, and trees, while others

are non-renewable like oil

and coal. We have to use our

non-renewable resources

carefully, because once they

are used they are gone

forever.

• Non-renewable resources.

• The main resource people depend on, and why.

• Ways to protect resources from running out.

• If you could have one non-renewable resource turned into
