What Is Unique about Living in the European Union?

The EU a ects the lives of all Europeans,

whether they are living in an EU member

nation or not.

European Union citizens have the right to

move freely from any member country to any

other member country. EU citizens have the

right to work and settle in any member

country. They can trade and move goods

within the borders of the EU countries with no

restrictions. They have the right to vote and Map of Europe

contribute in elections in their country of origin, or if they live in another EU country, they have the right

to vote in the country they reside in. They also have the right to enjoy the legal protection of the EU laws.
