                                 Rent A Car

               John is in Athens and he would like to rent a car.
               He is asking the agent about driving in Greece
               and in Europe.
               John  Do I have to have a driver’s licence?
               Agent  Yes, you do.
               John  I have an international driver’s licence. Do I have to
                      get another licence?
               Agent  No, you don’t have to. You can drive here with
                      an international licence.
               John  What about seat belts? Do I have to wear a seat belt?
               Agent  Yes, you must wear seat belts. It’s the law in most
                      European countries.
               John  Could you tell me the rules that I have to obey?
               Agent  You must be very careful when you honk your horn in Greece. In Romania, you don’t have to
                      keep your car clean.
               John  Do I have to drive on the left side of the road as they do in England?
               Agent  No, you mustn’t drive on the left. Stay on the right. If you go to Scandinavian countries, you
                      have to drive with your headlights on during the day.
               John  Are there any other laws that I should know about?
               Agent  If you are going to turn right or left, you have to use your turn signal. Of course, you must obey
                      the speed limit.
               John  Thank you very much. Could I pay by credit card?
