1. The most spoken first language in the world is Mandarin, which has over 900 million speakers.

3. Esperanto, which was created as a universal language, currently has approximately 2 million speakers.
4. Minecraft, a popular computer game which was released in 2011, allows players to set the language
to Esperanto in the game.
5. Mutzar Abbasi, an Esperanto speaker who was born in Pakistan, translated the Qur’an into Esperanto.
6. The asteroid 1462 Zamenhof, which was named after the language’s creator by an Esperantist
astronomer, was discovered in 1938.

month.
