                 D.  Answer the questions.

                   2.  Why did the friends agree to meet every year?
                   3.  What does the reviewer particularly like about the way the
                      book is written? Why?

                   4.  Who does the reviewer recommend the book to?
                   5.  What adjectives does the reviewer use to describe the plot?
                   6.  What example of the rule of three can you find in the first
                      paragraph?

                 E.  Think about a novel you’ve read recently. Answer the
                   questions.

                   1.  What adjectives would you use to describe:
                       a) the plot?
                       b) the main characters?
                       c) the ending?
                   2.  What did you particularly like about the novel?
                   3.  Was there anything you disliked?
                   4.  Who do you think would enjoy the novel?
