There is no such thing as a typical family, and a typical
way to live. I live at boarding school during term time,
and at home during holidays. In this essay, I’m going to
compare these ways to live and give my opinion about
which is better.
In many ways living at home and at school are
1 . You have your typical daily routine and so do your parents, so you don’t spend all your
time with them anyway. In 2 cases, there is always someone to go to for help and advice,
people to eat your meals with and have fun at the weekends.
3 , living at school can sometimes be lonely. When you are at home you can always go
and talk to your mum or dad, and there is always somewhere quiet to relax, 4 at school
things are always very noisy and busy.
I love my school, 5 I’m always happy to go home and spend some quality time with my
family, so in my opinion living at home is the best option.
