There are many ways of displaying data in a spreadsheet. Line graphs and bar charts
can be used to make our data easier to understand. Another way of presenting data
is to use a pie chart. Pie charts are useful, as they display all the data in one shape.
Each piece of a pie is called a ‘segment’. Each segment has a value. If we put all
segments together, we can form one pie.

Creating a pie chart.

Open the spreadsheet
named ‘My Savings.xlsx’.

Click on cell ‘B4’ and drag until
you have selected all the data,
including cell ‘C9’ (B4:C9).
