Lesson 3

Finding and Replacing Text

1. Open the file ‘Goldilocks.docx’.

2. Replace the name ‘Goldilocks’ with ‘Rusty’,
throughout the whole text. Use the ‘Replace’
tool to do this.
3. Now, change the pronoun ‘she’ to ‘he’ in the
whole text. Use the ‘Replace’ tool, and select
the ‘Replace All’ option to do this.
4. Finally, replace the word ‘girl’ with ‘boy’.
5. Save the file and exit.

Lesson 4

Header and Footer

1. Open the file ‘Goldilocks.docx’.

2. Add your name in the right of the footer.
3. Now, in the centre of the header, add the text, ‘Rusty and the Three Bears’.
4. Save the file and exit.

Lesson 5

Page Numbering

1. Open the file ‘Goldilocks.docx’.
2. Erase your name from the footer.
3. Now, in the centre of the footer, add page numbering.

4. Save the file and exit.
