Did You Know?
Computers and technology have developed, thanks to the
inspiration of many people. Their ideas and advances in
technology are, without a doubt, the reason why our lives
are easier today. In this book, we’ll get to know a few of
these people.
Social media is a means of online socialising and sharing
of information. It has become a part of our everyday lives
and has many forms.
Since the creation of the first computers, saving our files
was a very important issue. The way we store data has
changed over the years and of course the devices we use
are becoming smaller than the ones used decades ago.
Fun Fact!
The first hard disk drive was the IBM 350 Disk File
in 1956. Its storage capacity was less than 5 MB!
A single picture taken with your phone’s camera might
not fit in that storage device.
