         Let’s Learn

         Storage devices.
Ever since the first computer was manufactured, one of the issues that has always troubled
computer users is the question of where to store their data. The size of data keeps getting
larger and larger by the day, demanding increased storage sizes and newer technology to do this.
Fortunately, the size of data storage devices has become smaller and they require even less
power to operate. Storage devices have come in many forms but the way they save our data is
         based on three different technologies.

                                     Magnetic storage: These
                                     devices are mechanical and
                                     may often malfunction like
                                     tapes, floppy disk, and hard
                                     disk drive.

                                                                           Semi-conductor storage: The
Optical storage: data on these storage devices
The data on these optical is saved in memory cells. This
storage devices is written technology is faster and uses
and read with a laser like less power to run like USB Flash
CD and DVD. It is stronger Drive, SD Card, SSD Drive.
                                    than magnetic storage.
