Jamie’s Play Date

Jamie’s play date was the most eagerly-awaited

event of the year. Jamie’s parents first began the
tradition of hosting a huge play date for him every

year when he was just seven. All of Jamie’s friends
loved his play date. Jamie’s parents organised

trampolines, craft sessions, competitions, football
games, and ping pong tables! They also provided

snacks and refreshments. The play date always took
place at Jamie’s house. It was a huge mansion on

Brooke Avenue, next to Jamie’s school.
