In the Lab:

You will need:

• a big foam ball

• a small foam ball

• blue and orange paint

• a long metal rod

Steps:
1. Colour the big ball orange to make the Sun.

2. Colour the small ball blue to make the Earth.

3. Slide the metal rod through the middle of the blue ball

to make its axis.

4. Stick the orange ball on the floor.

5. Mark your place on Earth on the blue ball.

6. Put it in front of the Sun then spin it to see how day

and night happen.
