There are more forms of energy:
Potential energy: is the stored energy
in an object. A bicycle standing on top of
a hill has stored energy.
Kinetic energy: is the energy made by
motion. A bicycle going down the hill has
kinetic energy.
Electric energy: is the flow of electricity through
a circuit. Electric energy is a type of kinetic energy.
Heat energy: any object is made of very
tiny parts called molecules. The motion of
these molecules results in heat energy.
Chemical energy: When the molecules in any
object break apart, chemical energy is produced.
Food has stored chemical energy that is released
during digestion.
Chemical energy is a type of potential energy.
