Dear Parents,

As part of our social studies program, your child is learning about
recycling. In class, we learned how we can keep our environment clean.

Here are some things you can do to reinforce the message of this lesson
and our related learning activities.
• Ask your child to tell you two things that they learned from the

lesson.
• Start your own “Go Green” project at home and make your own

recycling bins together.
• Use the internet to find out how car seat belts are recycled into
fashion bags, or how tires are recycled into home decorations and

shoes.
