asked them, “What are you doing, guys?” They

replied, “We are working on a recycling project!”

One day, Flora was passing by Mrs. Mitchel’s garden.

She saw her throwing away garden pots. She got an
idea! She took all the pots, added soil, and planted

seeds. Flora watched her plants grow. She knew that
we shouldn’t throw away anything that we can reuse

in order to protect the environment.

throwing litter on the street. So, he brought recycling

bins and placed them everywhere in the street. How will

this help keep the neighborhood clean?

Conclusion

To protect our environment, we need to follow the three R’s:

 Reduce the amount of waste we produce.

 Reuse objects and materials several times before they are thrown away.

 Recycle items to use things in di erent ways.
