It was Christmastime. It was very cold and snowing outside. Ron
went to play outside in the snow. After some time,
he felt that his hands and feet were too cold and
he couldn’t stay outside anymore. He went in
and told his mother, “I couldn’t stay outside
for thirty minutes. How did people survive
the Ice Age?” What do you think?

Paul loves wolves. He loves how beautiful
and strong they are. Paul told his dad, “I
wish I had a wolf!” Paul’s dad said, “Then
you should have lived in the Ice Age! Wolves
and humans were at rst enemies, but over
time, they became friends. Wolves helped
humans to hunt and stay safe.” How did wolves
help people of the Ice Age?
Conclusion
During the Ice Age, it was cold and dry. Glaciers covered the Earth.
Humans and animals couldn’t nd lots of plants to eat. Humans had to
compete with animals for food and warmth. Wolves helped humans
hunt other animals to eat.
