Dear Parents,

As part of our social studies program, your child is learning about
natural resources. In class, we learned about types of natural resources
and how to protect them.

Here are some things you can do to reinforce the message of this lesson
and our related learning activities.

• Ask your child to tell you two things that they learned from the
lesson.

• Make a photo album that shows both renewable and
non-renewable resources.
• Discuss how pollution affects our natural resources.

• Think of other ways to protect our natural resources.
• Encourage your child to use less water when possible.
